I don't work for DC and this is not "Final Crisis" related.
I can't tell you more because whoever is working at this wishes to keep a low profile for now and he wishes so because nothing is official nor certain yet. I'll let you know as soon as i know myself if something will actually happen or not, but it won't be before a few months.
We just wanted a few hardcore Animal Man fans to pray the Red with us for it to happen ;-)

I UNDERSTAND.I think what Shaomi is trying to "reveal" us is that DC Comics people are planning to release a special issue/graphic novel on Animal Man, finally putting some order in his Post-Morrison life and paving the way for a solo title. I pray the Morphogenetic Field

Well, to avoid any misunderstanding, someone who can submit something to DC editors is planning to do so.

I want to see a Justice League book with member from the old JLI time in it. Blue Beetle Animal Man Booster Gold Guy (or even G'nort) Fire Ice Captain Atom and maybe a few of the lesser known characters that were in the book in the old JLI days. These "second stringers" need some representation and if they don't make it strictly a funny book, it could be great. Buddy was the only reason I read the Countdown to Adventure mini, all of these characters have the potential to be top tier, if done right the book could be DC's best.

Ok maybe I went a little overboard with G'nort...

Geekgazette, have you read "Formerly known as the Justice League" & "I can't believe it's the Justice League", DeMatteis/Giffen/Maguire's recent (& final) revival of the JLI?

Geekgazette, have you read "Formerly known as the Justice League" & "I can't believe it's the Justice League", DeMatteis/Giffen/Maguire's recent (& final) revival of the JLI? naturally. That group is "my" justice league, the one I read during my teenage years when I first really got into comics. I was already a big Blue Beetle fan so I grabbed it as soon as it came out back in '87(?). Man I can't believe it has been that long. You know they should do a mini-series called My Justice League, telling stories from each incarnation of the League. That would be cool. They could set it up so all the stories are interconnected, possibly by a common villain, and, when possible, have the creative teams that were best known for working on the particular incarnation originally do their part of the story. Example, Giffen, Dematteis and Maguire would do the JLI and the story would take place in that time period. That would be great...

I thought that the Justice League Classified did that. Every storyline features a different creative team and they are not restricted to any one league.

It is similar, in the fact that they have had different incarnations of the league, but the stories aren't connected and I don't think the original creative teams worked on them, with a few exceptions such as I can't believe its not the Justice League.
