I was spending alot on comics, but lately I've been cutting back. All I'm getting now are the Animal Man titles and All Star Superman. I also get the collected editions and graphic novels still, but mostly because they're easier to fit on a bookshelf.

Iron Man was one of the first Marvel books I read as a kid and the character stuck with me, like Alpha Flight (my favorite Marvel Book). I did however leave the book (Iron Man) after Heroes Reborn and only recently picked it up because of the movie and new series. If the new book isn't good I will drop it once again. I don't have a lot of tolerance or patience for Marvel and if a book isn't what I want to read after 2-3 issues I quit reading.
However, because DC characters are what introduced me to comics and I am a die hard, lifelong DC fan I tend to read more DC and be a little more lenient. I figure every Marvel book is a DC book I'm not reading so if a Marvel book isn't up to par I spend that money on something from DC. The only exception to this is Alpha Flight, they really have to screw that book up for me not to read it.

I'm quite a fan of ALPHA FLIGHT, it's truly my favourite superheroic team of all the times, 'nuff said! I loved all the Byrne/Mantlo eras --- I STILL refuse to accept the Omega mess they did last year (or so) and... well, that confusing stuff involving a REAL Sasquatch and a rejuvenated James/Vindicator... or even the temporal copies, for instance.  Byrne and Mantlo, definitely. Genius stuff. |

Marvel: the occasional X-men related title or mini-series (the most recent being the Avengers vs X-Men)
DC: NONE they have finally ruined it completely andI refuse to support the *explative* they are pushing now.
