I actually just picked up a piece of ANIMAL MAN original art a couple of days ago. Check out this preliminary sketch by Brian Bolland of the cover to ANIMAL MAN #19: www.angelfire.com/comics/wallacewest/bolland-pencil01.jpgThat, for now, is the only piece of Animal Man art that I own. That's cool crafty. From what I've seen, even the prlim are pricey. I would love to own an original Bolland Animal Man cover.

...So it turns out that that cover that I bought was already sold. The seller listed it again by accident. So I'm not getting that prelim sketch to the cover of ANIMAL MAN #19 after all. I am, however, getting a BEAUTIFUL prelim sketch to an UNUSED Brian Bolland cover to ANIMAL MAN #12. Check THIS out: www.angelfire.com/comics/wallacewest/bolland-2animalman.jpgYeah, I'm a little disappointed I'm not getting the other one, but this one is, in my opinion, infinitely cooler. What do you folks think? |
