yeah, i was about to say, weird as as opposed to a guy who spend the majority of his time alone in a dark cave.
personally, i say buddy is 1 of, if not the, most normal superheroes there is.

It's not Buddy... it's the reality surrounding him... the happenings in his weird life... he's pretty normal (as human person), it's everything else to be strange!

I know he started out in Strange Adventures, but they weren't all that strange compared to the other superheroes stories. Not until Morrison started writing it did it become truly strange. Everything Morrison writes is at least a little strange; look at Doom Patrol. I think Milligan did a good job of keeping with the feel of the character and the stories Morrison established. It went downhill from there.
Until I was looking over my back issues, I didn't realize there were as many writers as there was. They all kind of bleed together.

Milligan's run COULD be considered *CANON*. Maybe. I tend to agree on this.
