it was just announced that the current ANIMAL MAN series will end with march's #29. however, buddy will be joining the upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE CANADA.

not sure why but it seems that JUSTICE LEAGUE AMERICA is relocating to canada. i don't read the JLA book so i'm not sure why they are moving. i probably would pick up JLC either if buddy wasn't involved. so far, other known members are green arrow, hawkman and adam strange.

JUSTICE LEAGUE CANADA will actually be called JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED. but they will be based in canada. and will split their time between canada and space. the team roster has been confirmed as animal man, green arrow, martian manhunter, supergirl, stargirl, hawkman, adam strange and a new canadian character. JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED #0 comes out in april.

Wondering what will happen to Buddy in the Rebirth Earth continuity. I think they should come back to the Grant Morrison iteration and get rid of the Swamp Thing-esque traits. That's just me, even. |

buddy was mentioned in the TITANS HUNT mini series. he was winning an award for his stuntman work. animal man was also mentioned in the 1st issue of the current JUSTICE LEAGUE book. i believe aquaman mentions how he had recently teamed with animal man and vixen for something.
though they are not appearances, it at least shows that animal man is still around and active.
