i honestly did not know that issue 22 had a different art team. i just took another look and even now know, i really did not see too big of a difference. in my opinion, the fill-in team was a good choice.

Well, great to know! I think that, maybe, the only panel that kinda "put me off" at the time was when Animal Man met Kid Buddy (in the past). Well, that was pertinent anyway, very "sixties"-looking in terms of pencilling. Do you like the issue? It was cool to see that it's a fixed timeline and "Dark Mode" Animal Man was always part of the history and the past.
