Hey 1573, fitting we would meet again here no?
Anyway, I am from Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada.
Been a regularly sporadic collector of comics until 2 years ago, when I really got into it.
Picked up Countdown to Adventure on a whim, and discovered a new fav in Buddy.
I don't know a whole lot about him outside of Wiki, and that series, plus general knowledge (usually bestowed upon me by 1573 on DC.) But there can't be a better place to learn eh?
Anyway, eagerly looking forward to Wed, where I jump into the Rann/Thanagar:Holy War and the continued adventures of my man Buddy Baker (and others, but mainly him).

Aloha, I just joined the forum. I started reading Animal Man beginning with issue #5 (Coyote Gospel). I immediately went back to the comic shop to find the first four issues! I bought #5 because of the cover; Brian Bolland is my favorite comic artist. Anyway, I am glad to see there is a forum for A-Man fans; I have young kids and I don't have the time or money to keep up with comics anymore! Check out my repaint of the DC Direct Animal Man figure on ebay right now. I have also made a custom minimate (which is featured as my avatar).

Hi. Name's Will, although I go by Bill on the internet for reasons which are a mystery even to me. British. To quote Lennie from Shade - 'Extremely late 20s'. Been a fan of Buddy Baker since I picked up issue 18 because when I was 11 I thought it had a cool cover. Didn't miss an issue of the book after that, caught up on the early issue reading DC Action UK reprints and eventually caught up on the whole run. Enjoyed it from start to finish, even the less classic Veitch and Prosser runs. Became a huge of the work of three of the best comic book writers in the business, Morrison, Milligan and Delano as a result of the book. I'm hugely looking forward to reading the new series, although I haven't yet, as I'm finishing up a full reread of the the old series first.
