Wasn't there an Element Lad in the Legion of Super Heroes? yes, i believe there was. and there was also an element girl who was a friend/foe of rex at 1 point. |

That's right but they killed her off in the Dream Country storyline of Neil Gaiman's Sandman.
She wanted to die and Death, Dreams sister helped her. But that was vertigo and I don't know what that means for the other versions.

if it doesn't mess things up, i woul drather let thing get rolling a bit and see where things are headed.
then slip in w/ a new character that has a set agenda based on whatever has already happened.

What we could do is have Biggamepoacher and myself get the ball rolling with something. We could set the scene, set up the "heres what happened to make this happen" sort of thing, then you could jump in.
I will probably use a few guys myself to build the core of a team up, so if there are any suggestions let me know. I was thinking of having some sort of situation that would require a few heroes to band together outside of the JLA, JSA, Titans and Outsiders etc. that would be needed to deal with this threat. Of course Animal Man will be one of them, most likely I'll make him the team leader and the reason why everyone bands together.
Although as of now nothing is set in stone by any means. I'm still really interested in ideas people have and everything. The whole thing is completely flexible, so any input you guys have is good.
So 1573, if I read you right, you would like to have the initial catalyst happen, the team formed, then after that jump in with someone? Thats fine with me, we can do that no problem.
The only thing I kinda do want to know is who will be Animal Man tho, as A) I'll need somewhat of a commitment from you (since he should be the star of the thing) and B) when and how you want to bring him in, or how you want me to bring him in. We could form a team without him, then come across a mission where his skills are vital to success, and thus bring him onto the team that way. OR, the team could form around him from the get go. This is stuff I need to know tho before starting, so I don't screw up other peoples plans if they have any.

I'll bow out for someone else to play Animal Man first, because I've never done this before, and I think the first to play Buddy maybe should have some experience. Just my opinion.

So lets try to get this up and running for tomorrow. Last things I need are: - Characters. Who do you want to be? This way I can have an idea of how to get the thing rolling. There is no restrictions as to who you can be, and customs are really cool to have to. There is a site called Hero Machine which lets you create your own hero, its a pretty decent place for custom making. - Also we need a title for the thing, I was thinking "The Buddy System", it sounds cheesy, but it actually seems to work well considering his name is Buddy  . Anyway, suggestions are always welcomed. |

No thats absolutely fine with me. I'm going to put together a small, loosely connected team, which we can build on from there.
I'm pumped tho, been thinking about this a lot over the weekend. I just have to talk to my buddy "Biggamepoacher" about how to kick start the thing, and we'll be rolling in no time.
