Picked up #1 today. Not a bad issue, all a big building block comic. The series looks to be alright tho, I'm going to give it a chance. Anyone else get this? Or interested? Spoilers here (highlight to read), scans and stuff if you want them. |

i will not get to read this for another couple of weeks.
i'm ususally 2 weeks to a month behind on new books.
i get all my new books (and most back issues) mailed right to my door once a month.
so i kinda have to rely on spoilers to keep up.

I'm a sucka for punishment. They're saying it's a crisis trilogy. I guess they forgot about Identity crisis.
In a couple of years they'll say it's a quadrilogy, and have a new crisis to sell more books.
But our beloved Morrison is at the helm of this one, so maybe it wont be so bad, and more bad ass.

It should be the Crisis to end all Crisis'. It shouldn't be about destroying the 52, and I highly doubt they will do that.
If what I've heard is correct, we may be seeing the re-introduction of Hypertime, which would completely nullify all continuity errors to date, if done right. Since its Morrisons invention, I have a feeling it will be done right.

i will have to finish reading the interview later but so far, i like the idea of "hypercrisis".
i definitely woul dhave picked that up.
the only thing i woul dhave changed would have been capt marvel standing over superman's grave saying "supes is dead".
not supes saying "marvel is dead."
sorry, just not a superman fan.
the only good duperman is a dead superman.

Actually there are three official stories.The Final Crisis is the last. We talk here about three multiversial major events but Identity Crisis is just a J.L.A. story with the role of a commencement for the second one (Infinite Crisis). And don't forget that the Crisis crossovers begins back in the 60s.I have read many stories with that title.It doesn't matter so much. |
